Plans & credits
Codalio uses plans for features and limits, and credits for AI work.

The Subscription page always shows the current plans, prices and monthly credits. Go to Subscription in the account menu and click More details on any plan.
Trial
New accounts start on a Pro trial with up to 3 active products, unlimited prototype pages, your first UI prototype generation free and starter credits. Code generation and deployment need a paid plan. When the trial ends, your account switches to the Free plan unless you upgrade.
Credits
AI work uses credits: writing and editing your PRD, generating and changing prototypes, analyzing repositories and generating code. When an action uses credits, the button usually says so, for example (uses credits).
You have three kinds of credit, used in this order:

Your balance is shown under Credit Balance. Hover it for the breakdown.
Top up
Click Top up (or Buy more credits / Top up credits), choose a pack, and pay through secure Stripe checkout. Purchased credits never expire and are used only after your monthly and bonus credits.
Running out
If you don't have enough credits, Codalio shows Insufficient Credits with options to Top up credits or Upgrade Now. Long-running work, like a build or repository analysis, pauses instead of failing. Add credits and click Resume to continue from where it stopped. Nothing is lost.
Your first guided journey (questions, Product Desk, Design Spec and prototype) doesn't use your credits. See Guided setup.
Usage & Billing
Go to App Settings → Usage & Billing to see:
- Credit Usage: credits used this month and all time.
- Usage by category: PRD flow, UI generation and code generation.
- Usage Over Time and Credits Per Day charts.
- Project Breakdown: credits by product and type of work this month.
- Billing History: your invoices, each with a PDF.
Use the Project filter to focus on one product.
Upgrade
Click Upgrade plan in the sidebar, or go to Subscription, and choose a plan. Before you confirm, Codalio shows what you'll be charged today, your renewal date and the credits added now. Your card is charged as soon as you confirm.
Cancel
Go to Subscription and click Cancel Subscription. No further monthly payments are taken, and you can upgrade again at any time. To cancel a Cloud Deployment, see Launch.
